Many falls can be avoided and Julia is passionate about helping staff understand how to support their clients to stay on their feet and maximise their independence and mobility.
Julia is an Occupational Therapist of 30 years with comprehensive knowledge suited to training staff. Her background includes working as the Northern NSW LHD Falls Prevention Coordinator (9 years) as well as an OT in falls prevention research, health promotion, mental health, and adult education.
